Requirements and responsibilities


As a Manager in our Private Equity tax group, you will be responsible for but not limited to the following:Provide top-level review of federal and multi-state income tax returns or private equity entities and/or private equity family officeWork closely with clients to advise on income tax issues and related tax planningOversee planning and scheduling of engagements and work flow supervisionResearch complex technical tax issues and provides solutionsLead and train teams of seniors and staff accountants throughout the engagementEnsure quality of work productCommunicate progress to partners and is the liaison between partners and staffCoach and mentor individual team members and involved in performance evaluationsManagement responsibilities also include firm administrative functions and initiatives such as client billingsTo be successful, these are the skills and experience you will need:Undergraduate degree; Master’s degree a plusCPA certificateA minimum of 5 years of relevant experienceExperience with partnership and fund experience is requiredAbility to identify and propose resolutions to complex income tax issuesDemonstrated advanced project management skillsAbility to utilize firm technology to enhance client serviceExcellent research skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office computer programsExperience with GoSystems is a plusYou Matter - HCVT provides a variety of benefits and perks that help sustain a healthy and thriving work environment.Visit the Benefits section to learn moreThis salary range is specific to the state(s) listed and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill set and education; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
