🔵 Requirements: ◽ Ability to operate and maintain recycling equipment safely and efficiently. ◽ Familiarity with recycling processes and materials is advantageous. ◽ Leadership and attention to detail are a plus. 🔵 Responsibilities: ◽ Material sorting and processing: → Receive, inspect, and sort recyclable materials (e.g., paper, plastic, glass, metals) according to established guidelines. → Operate various machinery and equipment to process and prepare recycling materials. ◽ Equipment operation and maintenance: → Safely operate balers, compactors, forklifts, and other recycling machinery. → Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any malfunctions or issues to the supervisor. ◽ Quality control: → Monitor the quality of recycled materials to ensure they meet industry standards and company specifications. → Remove contaminants or non-recyclable items from the processing line. ◽ Health and safety compliance: → Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a hazard-free work environment. → Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and participate in safety training programs. ◽ Facility maintenance: → Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the recycling center. → Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel. ◽ Record keeping and reporting: → Maintain accurate records of processed materials, quantities, and incidents or issues. → Generate reports as required by management. ◽ Team collaboration: → Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to achieve production goals and maintain a positive work environment.
