Manager of Research at Chainalysis

Chainalysis is a global organization that provides complete knowledge of what’s happening on blockchains through their data, services, and solutions. They help government agencies, cryptocurrency businesses, and financial institutions track and investigate illicit activity on the blockchain. As a Manager, Research, you’ll report directly to our Chief Scientist and lead a team focused on answering exceptionally complex blockchain questions. You will be responsible for leading and empowering teams of Research Scientists, hiring exceptional people, building relationships with the Engineering and Product teams, and guiding the engineering team in building scalable, flexible, and maintainable data and analytics systems and micro services. Responsibilities: - Lead and empower one or more teams of Research Scientists - Hire exceptional people to grow your team(s) with a focus on diversity, scalability, and always raising the bar - Build relationships with the Engineering and Product teams based on credibility and candor that result in lofty goals, clear objectives, and confidence that you’ll meet them - Help the entire Research team get better at what we do through building smarter ways of working - Guide and help the engineering team build scalable, flexible, and maintainable data and analytics systems and micro services
