Eyewear Consultation and Sales: - Assist patients in selecting eyeglasses and sunglasses that fit their style, prescription, and lifestyle needs. - Recommend appropriate lens types (e.g., progressive, blue-light blocking) and frame styles. - Provide guidance on product features, benefits, and care instructions. Prescription Interpretation: - Interpret and analyze prescriptions from optometrists or ophthalmologists. - Ensure accuracy and proper adjustments are made to lens orders. Frame Fitting and Adjustments: - Measure patients for eyeglass frames and ensure proper fit and comfort. - Make frame adjustments, including nose pads, temple arms, and overall alignment. Lens Verification and Quality Control: - Inspect incoming lenses to ensure they meet the patient's prescription and quality standards. - Verify lens accuracy using lensometers or other measurement tools. Order Management and Inventory: - Place, track, and manage lens and frame orders with suppliers. - Maintain inventory of frames, lenses, and accessories, ensuring stock availability.
