Requirements and responsibilities


We are seeking an organized, self-driven Clinical Operations Coordinator / Medical Practice Manager to optimize clinical workflows, manage insurance credentialing and contracting, and assist with day-to-day medical practice management tasks. An ideal candidate will be comfortable navigating electronic medical records (experience with Tebra/Kareo is a plus), proficient with insurance credentialing, and capable of independently solving problems and improving processes. Core Responsibilities: * EMR Optimization & Clinical Efficiency: * Streamline patient intake processes within Tebra EMR. * Troubleshoot and resolve billing and coding issues, such as adding modifiers to billing notes. * Manage and ensure compliance with Medicare quality tracking. Insurance Credentialing & Contracting: * Complete insurance applications accurately and securely. * Handle sensitive data (e.g., SSNs, birthdates) with utmost confidentiality. * Navigate insurance company websites and communicate effectively with insurance representatives. * Maintain meticulous records of credentialing statuses, follow-ups, and contracts. Medical Practice Management: * Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and communicate effectively with patients. * Relay critical patient information to providers efficiently. * Complete prior authorizations, enter lab orders, run necessary reports. * Collaborate with billing services and platforms like Zoc Doc to resolve integration issues. Personal Assistant Responsibilities: * Manage and organize provider’s email inbox and calendar. Qualifications: * Nursing experience strongly preferred (RN ideal). Medical Assistant or Medical Billing and Coding professional also considered. * Prior experience with medical practice management, insurance credentialing, or EMR optimization required. * Familiarity with insurance terminology, including individual and group NPIs. * Must be highly organized, proactive, self-directed, and detail-oriented. * Fluency in Spanish strongly preferred.
