Future Ready CFO - Financial Analyst Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our fractional CFO consulting business. This role is ideal for someone passionate about financial modeling, analysis, and creating insightful reports. The Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting our clients with their financial needs, as well as contributing to our content creation efforts. Responsibilities * Build and maintain 3-statement financial models (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement). * Develop and refine cash flow forecasts to help clients manage their liquidity. * Conduct unit economics analysis to assess the profitability and viability of business models. * Prepare comprehensive financial reports that summarize client performance and insights. * Construct complex financial models for public CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) and eCommerce businesses. * Engage comfortably with founders/CEOs of startup businesses. Typical clients generate $2–$20 million in revenue. * Utilize financial analysis to create compelling content for social media, emails, whitepapers, and reports. * Collaborate with the team to develop strategies and recommendations for clients. * Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and models. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. * 7–13 years of professional experience, with at least 2–3 years in the CPG or eCommerce industries. * Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis. * Experience with 3-statement modeling, cash flow forecasting, and unit economics analysis. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to synthesize complex financial data into clear and concise reports. * Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. * Experience with BI or Looker Studio is a plus (one of your projects will be to connect all our financial models to one of these tools).
