Requirements and responsibilities

Pleo’s engineering culture is at an exciting time of transition. In the past, we built and shipped as quickly as humanly possible, like any funded tech startup. But then 2022 happened, and now we’re very much focused on looking at improving the quality of our products. We’re still in the midst of that revolution, and now you can hear words like SLAs, reliability, and monitoring being discussed in all corners of the engineering floor. It’s exciting for everyone, but especially SRE! Your team of 8 is full of excellent engineers. Some of us are just beginning our careers, while others have been in software for 10+ years. We're a healthy team and focused in equal parts on creating a sustainable infrastructure platform and on keeping the team happy. When you join, you will find that things aren't on fire. We're in a decent place! But it's clear that we're going to need some new ideas to scale in the upcoming year. You'll have the time and the freedom, when you want and need it. Your team cares about you as a human, and wants you to focus on your personal life, when it needs love. Pleo is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join our team in Copenhagen or Montreal. As an SRE at Pleo, you will be part of an exciting transition in our engineering culture, focusing on improving the quality of our products. You will work with a team of 8 excellent engineers, contributing to the creation of a sustainable infrastructure platform and ensuring the team's happiness. The role offers flexibility and freedom, allowing you to focus on your personal life when needed. If you are passionate about SRE and want to be part of a team that values quality and personal well-being, this is the opportunity for you! Responsibilities: - Implementing FluxCD into our software development lifecycle - Building out new Kubernetes environments for various use cases - Making our Istio API Gateway easy to use for our developers at Pleo
