Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled IT & Technology Specialist to take ownership of our IT and technology systems. In this role, you will lead the implementation, optimisation, and support of Odoo ERP and AI-driven tools across the business to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. You will work closely with department leaders to identify opportunities for automation and deliver practical technology solutions that improve business performance.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the implementation, configuration, and ongoing optimisation of Odoo ERP across Sales, Operations, Finance, HR, Inventory, and Procurement modules.Identify, evaluate, and implement AI tools and automation solutions to reduce manual processes in estimating, scheduling, inventory, and customer service.Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and training to ensure effective system usage across all teams.Maintain system security, data integrity, backups, and overall platform performance.Develop user guides, documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for systems and tools.Collaborate with department leads to understand operational needs and deliver tailored technology improvements.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Delivery of Odoo implementation milestones on schedule90% user adoption and training completion rateDemonstrated time savings through automation initiativesSystem uptime of 99.5%95% of IT support tickets resolved within 24 hoursRequired Skills & ExperienceMinimum 4+ years of experience implementing and managing Odoo or similar ERP systemsHands-on experience with AI tools, automation platforms, and business process optimisationStrong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical support skillsExperience training and supporting non-technical usersAbility to work effectively in a remote environment, ideally with Australian-based teamsPersonal AttributesProactive problem-solver with a passion for improving systems and processesStrong communicator who can explain technical concepts in simple termsSelf-motivated, highly organised, and detail-orientedAble to manage multiple priorities independentlyWorking ConditionsFully remote roleReliable high-speed internet and professional home office setup requiredOccasional flexibility required for system upgrades, maintenance, or urgent support
