About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced SAP Service Line Manager to lead, grow, and professionalize a core consulting service line. This role combines people leadership, delivery excellence, and close collaboration with sales and operations to ensure high-quality, scalable, and profitable service delivery.The SAP Service Line Manager owns the professional excellence, capability development, and resourcing readiness of the service line, while partnering closely with sales, project managers, and unit managers to support pipeline growth and successful project execution.Key ResponsibilitiesService Line Leadership & StrategyDefine and execute the service line’s professional strategy in alignment with business goalsDevelop and maintain a strong, future-ready capability portfolio (skills, roles, certifications)Act as the professional owner of the service line toward sales, delivery, and leadershipPeople & Talent ManagementLead and mentor functional leaders and senior consultants within the service lineDrive continuous professional development, training plans, and certification pathsSupport recruitment activities, professional interviews, and onboardingFoster a strong team culture focused on quality, accountability, and collaborationContribute to performance evaluations, career development, and retention initiativesDelivery Excellence & QualityEnsure high delivery standards across projects (methodology, quality gates, best practices)Support estimation, solution shaping, and proposal quality during presalesAct as an escalation point for professional and capability-related delivery issuesSafeguard scope, standards, and professional integrity across engagementsResource & Capacity ManagementMaintain visibility on capacity, skills, and utilization within the service lineProactively align resource availability with sales pipeline and delivery demandSupport bench optimization and workforce planning for growth and expansionEnable rapid and quality staffing through structured capability mappingSales & Presales CollaborationPartner with sales and account teams on opportunity shaping and solutioningContribute to Statements of Work (SoW), effort estimates, and value propositionsSupport account farming, upsell opportunities, and trusted advisor positioningGovernance & Stakeholder EngagementCollaborate with Unit Managers, PMO, Architects, and OperationsProvide regular reporting and insights to Service Line Head and leadershipPromote transparency on skills, availability, and delivery readiness toward salesRequired Qualifications & ExperienceExperience in SAP / enterprise solution delivery environments8+ years of experience in SAP consulting, delivery, or professional services environments on service provider side5+ years experience on buyer (client) side SAP project management, or functional SAP team leadershipExposure to global delivery models and multicultural teamsProven leadership experience managing cross-functional or distributed SAP teams (50+ people)Strong background in SAP service delivery, resource management, and quality governanceBudget planning and management for 50+ colleague global organizationExperience working closely with SAP sales and presales organizationsSolid understanding of commercial constructs (SoW, estimates, margins, utilization), 10+ SAP bids managed and won over $1MMExcellent communication skills with the ability to influence across senior SAP stakeholdersAbility to operate in a fast-growing, international, and matrix-driven SAP organizationLiving in Hungary, Budapest, or in GermanyGerman and English language proficiency on business communication levelUniversity degree in IT or EconomicsWillingness to travel globallyCertified in one of the project management methodologies with good standingNice to HaveCoaching or mentoring certificationExperience building or scaling a service line or practiceMethodology knowledge (e.g. SAP Activate, Agile, Hybrid delivery models)MBAHungarian language
