About the RoleThe Senior Financial Planning Analyst plays a key role in driving budgeting, planning, forecasting, and financial analysis across the organization. This role partners closely with managers and cross-functional teams to deliver accurate financial insights, maintain compliance standards, and support strategic decision-making. Here's What You'll Do.Coordinate, prepare, and manage all aspects of budgeting and planning, including the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statementPrepare re-forecasted financial plans on a monthly basis or as directed by management, and conduct in-depth monthly variance analysisPartner with managers to review financial results, update forecasts, and translate data into meaningful business insightsDraft, update, and maintain budget and planning policies and procedures to ensure Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) complianceDevelop and deliver training on budgeting software and processes to relevant personnel across the organizationPrepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements with appropriate footnotes and support ad-hoc financial analysis and due diligence for acquisitions or mergers as neededRole EssentialsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent practical experience5–8 years of experience in public accounting or corporate financial planning and analysisStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendationsExceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly and confidently to diverse audiencesTechnology You'll UseMicrosoft WindowsMicrosoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Budgeting and planning software (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, or equivalent)ERP/financial reporting systemsWhat We'd Like to SeeThese aren't required, but would make you a strong fit:Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance processes and documentationDemonstrated experience supporting M&A due diligence or other complex financial projectsFamiliarity with enterprise financial planning platforms and data visualization toolsProven ability to define and report on business performance metrics that support leadership decisionsStrong collaborative skills with experience providing guidance and mentorship to team membersAbout HylandHyland is the pioneer of the Content Innovation Cloud™, delivering ubiquitous enterprise intelligence to organizations with solutions that unlock actionable insights and drive automation. © Hyland.
