This is a unique opportunity to deliver meaningful therapy from home while being part of an innovative organisation helping shape the future of digital healthcare.About the RoleAs a Telehealth Occupational Therapist with XRHealth, you will work with clients and families to deliver evidence-based therapy through a combination of telehealth and VR-supported intervention.You will be supported by our operations team, allowing you to focus on what matters most: delivering high-quality therapy and helping clients achieve meaningful outcomes.Previous VR experience is not required. We provide training, support and guidance to help you confidently integrate immersive technology into your clinical practice.Part-time options are available.What You’ll DoYour responsibilities will include:Conducting comprehensive initial assessments to determine client suitability for telehealth and VR-supported servicesDelivering evidence-based Occupational Therapy interventions aligned with client goalsSupporting children and adolescents with functional skills, emotional regulation, confidence, social participation, independence and wellbeingWorking with neurodiverse clients and their families in a person-centred, strengths-based wayMonitoring and documenting client progress in line with professional and clinical standardsPreparing assessment reports, progress reports and summaries for families, referrers and other stakeholdersCollaborating with families, carers and other professionals to support meaningful outcomesMaintaining professional registration and practice standards in line with AHPRA requirementsAbout YouWe are looking for an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist who is passionate about delivering engaging, goal-based therapy in a flexible telehealth environment.The ideal candidate will have:A tertiary qualification in Occupational TherapyFull registration with AHPRA as an Occupational TherapistA minimum of three years’ clinical experienceExperience or strong interest in paediatric Occupational TherapyExperience working with children, adolescents and neurodiverse clientsAn understanding of the NDIS framework and goal-based therapy approachesA Medicare Provider Number, Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain theseExcellent communication and documentation skillsFull working rights in AustraliaA suitable work-from-home setup, including high-speed internet and access to a computer, laptop or tabletAn interest in emerging technology and the role of VR in Occupational Therapy practiceThe BenefitsWork from anywhere in Australia and save on commuting time and costsBe part of a pioneering organisation integrating VR into allied health practiceAccess training, support and collaboration within a multidisciplinary teamUse engaging digital tools to support real-world functional outcomesJoin a forward-thinking team shaping the future of therapy deliveryDeliver meaningful therapy to clients who may otherwise face barriers accessing servicesWhy Join XRHealth?At XRHealth, you will have the opportunity to work in a flexible, supportive and innovative environment where clinical care and technology come together.
