About the jobWe're seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Engineer, with Backend Knowledge to join our engineering team in the ongoing development and evolution of our platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in frontend technologies with a working familiarity with backend development. This role offers the opportunity to make significant technical contributions to a sophisticated platform used by marketing professionals while collaborating with team leads.Required Skills & Experience4+ years of experience in frontend developmentStrong knowledge of React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript practicesExperience with GraphQL (Apollo Client)Familiarity with UI component libraries (particularly Mantine or similar)Experience with form management in React applicationsUnderstanding of state management patterns, testing frameworks, and deployment strategiesExperience with build systems, module bundlers, and CI/CD pipelinesExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English for technical discussions, documentation, and knowledge sharingProficiency with preferred development environment (Mac or Linux) and related development toolsAbility to collaborate synchronously with team members during core hours (10:00 AM - 6:00 PM US Eastern Time) while respecting work-life balancePreferred QualificationsExperience in advertising technology or marketing analyticsKnowledge of budget management and financial data systemExperience developing multi-app workspaces or monoreposFamiliarity with data visualization libraries and techniquesUnderstanding of accessibility standards and best practicesExperience with real-time data processing systemsUnderstanding of data privacy regulations and security best practicesExperience with systems compliant with ISO 27001 and other security frameworks such as SOC 2, NIST 800-53, or HIPAA requirementsContributions to open-source projects or technical communityKnowledge of first principles (e.g. basics of tools, internals of the computer, low level concepts and how work actually gets done, etc)Advanced degree in Computer Science or related fieldSome experience (1+ years) in team leadership or people management in a technical contextResponsibilitiesDesign and implement robust frontend solutions using: React/TypeScript frontend with Mantine component libraryGraphQL APIs with Apollo ClientContribute to technical decision-making processes while balancing business requirements with technical constraintsFollow and extend best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment processes across the entire stackCollaborate with product management, UI/UX designers, and engineering leads to implement technical specificationsOptimize application performance across multiple applicationsApply type safety and code reusability best practicesParticipate in the full development lifecycle from planning to deploymentStay up-to-date on the latest tools and techniques, recommending them for incorporation into our platform.
