Requirements and responsibilities

Ludlow Property Group is a real estate company based in New York and Colorado. We buy, manage, and develop self-storage properties. We have built our own software operating system for the business, and we are very tech-focused. Please only apply if you have experience creating models and underwriting real estate deals. We're hiring an analyst to underwrite new acquisitions and build financial models across our existing real-estate portfolio. You should be AI-obsessed! We want someone who is already using AI every day to model faster, catch errors, and produce work at a level of speed and precision that a traditional analyst can't match. The analyst will play a key role in underwriting new real estate investments, building and maintaining financial models, and managing ongoing reporting for lenders and equity partners. This person will work closely with the leadership team. This is a dynamic role for someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment, enjoys creating order out of chaos, and wants to be part of building something big. The ideal candidate is both analytical and creative, capable of diving deep into the numbers while understanding the broader strategic picture behind each investment. Key Responsibilities: - Support underwriting of new real estate acquisitions, developments, and investments across multiple asset types - Build, refine, and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate performance and returns - Prepare materials and updates for lenders, investors, and equity partners - Track and analyze property-level financials and key performance metrics across the portfolio - Assist in preparing investment memos, offering memoranda, and internal deal summaries - Collaborate with operations, development, and accounting teams to ensure data accuracy and reporting consistency - Monitor market trends, comparable sales, lease comps, and other relevant data to inform underwriting assumptions - Participate in asset management activities including budgeting, capital planning, and performance reviews - Help develop systems and processes that bring clarity and structure to a fast-growing organization
