It’s hard work, but it will be worth it.Join us in building America’s mortgage rails.About the RoleWe are hiring a Technical Oversight - Post Closing to own loan delivery, purchase timelines, and post-closing issue resolution across our investor and whole-loan channels. This role is accountable for ensuring closed loans are delivered cleanly, purchased quickly, and resolved efficiently when issues arise.You will serve as the primary owner of investor delivery and rebuttals, as well as the main point of contact for sellers whose loans we purchase and the investors we sell to. This is a hands-on role for someone who has independently managed suspense, negotiated rebuttals, and understands how post-closing execution directly impacts cash flow, credibility, and risk.This role operates post-close, with full authority once loans fund, and plays a critical role in protecting capital and scaling delivery operations.Key ResponsibilitiesDelivery Ownership & ExecutionOwn end-to-end delivery of closed loans to investors and whole-loan purchasers, ensuring timely submission and purchaseBuild and maintain investor-specific delivery checklists, eligibility gates, and suspense prevention controlsThis role also owns the day-to-day execution and performance of offshore post-closing and delivery teams, ensuring work is completed accurately, on time, and in alignment with investor delivery standards.Track and manage purchase timelines, days-to-cash, and aging inventorySuspense, Rebuttals & Issue ResolutionManage all investor suspense, rebuttals, and curative documentation through final purchaseAct as the primary escalation point for delivery disputes, exceptions, and delayed purchasesPartner with legal and compliance on complex delivery issues or investor challengesInvestor & Seller CommunicationServe as the primary point of contact for investor delivery and post-purchase review teamsManage communications with correspondent sellers whose loans we purchase, including suspense requests, rebuttals, and resolution timelinesEnsure external communications are accurate, timely, and aligned with contractual and delivery requirementsReporting, SLAs & Continuous ImprovementOwn reporting on delivery performance, including first-pass purchase rates, suspense rates, rebuttal cycles, and cash timingSet and enforce post-closing delivery SLAs, holding internal teams accountablePerform root-cause analysis on delivery issues and drive process improvements to reduce repeat defectsQualifications7+ years of post-closing and investor delivery experience, with flexibility for candidates who demonstrate deep, multi-investor ownershipProven experience independently managing delivery, suspense, and rebuttals across multiple investorsPrior role as an escalation point for delayed purchases, delivery disputes, or investor exceptionsExperience designing, improving, or rebuilding post-closing and delivery workflowsStrong working knowledge of LOS platforms and investor delivery portalsAbility to track, analyze, and report on delivery performance metrics and cash timingExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with comfort engaging directly with investors and sellersHigh attention to detail, strong judgment, and a bias toward ownership and accountabilityWhat This Role Is NotNot a checklist-only post-closing roleNot limited to document trailing or file indexingNot a passive coordination positionThis role owns outcomes: delivery quality, purchase timing, and issue resolutionBenefitsOwnership: Meaningful early-stage equity in PylonHealthcare: Top-tier medical, vision & dental with dependent support401(k): Ability to save for your futureFlexible Time Off: Be on when you’re on and off when you’re offHardware Allowance: $2,000 to upgrade your workspaceAnnual Off-sites: Fully paid team off-sitesAt-cost Mortgages: Financing support for your next home
