Responsibilities


We are looking for an experienced Kubernetes Platform Engineer with strong expertise in edge computing, Kubernetes platforms, GitOps, networking, observability, and disaster recovery.Key Responsibilities:Edge Deployment Automation: K3s cluster provisioning and lifecycle management across multiple restaurant sites using Spectro Cloud (Palette), with Flux (GitOps) for automated and rollback-safe deployments.Cloud Containerized Application Management: AKS cluster operations including RBAC and node pools, along with Helm/Kustomize application packaging and consistent promotion from cloud to edge K3s.Traffic Routing & Load Balancing: Traefik configuration for ingress, reverse proxy, service routing, and load balancing across cloud and edge clusters.Edge Autoscaling & Load Balancing: Configure node/workload autoscaling for constrained edge hardware and implement local load balancing across edge nodes.Edge Networking: Calico CNI and network-policy enforcement for workload isolation and traffic segmentation.Edge Resiliency & Disaster Recovery: Azure Arc-enabled Kubernetes for fleet-wide visibility and governance, automated cluster recovery and upgrade rollback for disconnected/intermittent-connectivity sites.Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor for fleet health visibility, with hands-on troubleshooting of CrashLoopBackOff, node-pressure evictions, CoreDNS failures, and other Kubernetes issues at scale.Key Skills: Kubernetes | K3s | AKS | Spectro Cloud | Palette | Flux | GitOps | Helm | Kustomize | Traefik | Calico | Azure Arc | Prometheus | Grafana | Azure Monitor | Edge Computing | Disaster RecoveryInterested candidates can share their CV at: hr@solventrix.com
