Head of Growth & Operations — Venyrs
Venyrs helps event venues turn enquiries into bookings through marketing, sales follow-up, booking systems and operational support. We are looking for a hands-on operator who works with the founders, leads contributors and specialists, and owns acquisition, sales execution, client delivery and retention. You will evaluate specialist work rather than personally perform every task.
Location and schedule
Full-time, remote across Latin America, including Colombia, Mexico and Argentina. Core schedule: Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM Eastern Time. Location suitability is based on remote collaboration and time-zone overlap. The legal engagement arrangement will be defined before an offer.
Compensation
CAD 1,800–3,500 per month, depending on demonstrated experience and the level of responsibility you can own.
Responsibilities
• Lead cold calls, DMs and follow-up. Validate an initial team target of 250 calls per week against quality and capacity. Maintain pipeline discipline and coach the team.
• Coordinate ads, social, copy and landing-page tests. Coordinate VSL scripts, filming, talent and production, and evaluate results.
• Own onboarding, commitments and support through verified resolution, with clear handoffs.
• Source, onboard and coach team members, and arrange backup coverage within approved hiring terms.
• Run a weekly scorecard for acquisition, conversion, client health, capacity, spending and profitability. Measure Venyrs client acquisition separately from client venues' bookings.
Decision rights
Within agreed plans and budgets, own weekly priorities, assignments, routine coaching, process improvements, revisions against briefs, scheduling, vendors within approved limits and routine client communications. Founder approval is required for pricing, guarantees, contracts, hiring terms, unbudgeted spending, major concessions, territory exceptions and material production risks. During onboarding, agree explicit limits and one founder approver for each category.
Success
Qualified opportunities become paying, retained clients. Conversion, acquisition cost and margins improve. Fewer handoffs are dropped, issues reach verified resolution and founders spend less time chasing work.
• First 30 days: establish baselines, audit processes and agree decision rights.
• Days 31–60: establish the weekly operating rhythm, improve processes and run agreed tests.
• Days 61–90: show measurable progress against the baseline and agreed targets.
What you bring
Demonstrated people, growth and operations leadership in a service or software-enabled service business; strong funnel economics, creative judgment and evidence of personally owned results. You can lead operating execution, evaluate specialist work, coach contributors and turn plans into reliable delivery. We assess demonstrated results, with no degree requirement.
