Position Overview: We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Project Coordinator to support the execution of commercial electrical projects. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Project Manager to ensure materials, schedules, budgets, and client communications are executed with accuracy and professionalism. Your technical knowledge and organizational skills will help guide field teams and keep projects aligned with scope, timeline, and budget expectations. Key Responsibilities: Source competitive pricing for electrical materials and equipment. Manage procurement and delivery tracking of materials. Coordinate travel arrangements for project-related fieldwork. Schedule manpower and subcontractors. Oversee equipment rentals and logistics. Maintain client communication and provide regular progress updates. Monitor budgets, track scope changes, and identify billable change orders. Prepare project billing and documentation. Develop clear installation guides/manuals (“cookbooks”) for field crews. Validate field execution against scope and provide direction as needed. Respond to subcontractor and field staff inquiries about scope and changes. Participate in daily and weekly team/customer meetings to ensure milestones are met. Qualifications: Strong written and spoken English communication skills. Prior experience in electrical project coordination or similar roles. Solid understanding of the American/Canadian electrical code and construction practices. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions: VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros). Strong computer literacy with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams, SharePoint). Familiarity with ERP systems and how they support project workflows. Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication. Nice-to-Haves: Formal education or hands-on experience in electrical maintenance/construction. Project management background or certification.
