SmartRemote Solutions is scouting for a brilliant Robotics Software Engineer to join a pioneering international team. We are looking for engineers who thrive at the intersection of complex data systems and advanced robotics applications. In this role, you will be a key contributor to building robust data pipelines for multi-camera and sensor data ingestion, directly supporting visual data streams for cutting-edge robotics. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain high-throughput pipelines for visual and sensor data capture. - Integrate and manage data streams using visual systems like DepthAI. - Build video + sensor data pipelines and implement workflow calibration. - Use MCAP and Protobuf for data recording and efficient high-throughput data processing. Candidate Profile: - Strong experience with camera systems or video data pipelines. - Proficiency in Python and/or C++. - Basic understanding of sensor data handling, synchronization, and real-time data systems. - Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - Excellent spoken and written English. Bonus Points (Preferred): - Familiarity with ROS 2, Lidar, or similar robotics frameworks. - Basic understanding of camera/sensor calibration.
