We are hiring! • At NativApps we are currently looking for the following position as Application Engineer, the ideal candidate must have an enthusiastic attitude, a strong work ethic, and commitment to teamwork. We offer an indefinite contract, competitive salaries, flexible schedules, and an excellent environment, this is your opportunity! • Responsbilities • Being able to put an estimate together for a salesperson to review. • Understand mechanical systems and be able to recognize them in plan set. • Understand cost of installation and being able to determine what is the cost of putting a system together. • Understand controls schematics and the different variations of them. • Understand parts, their application and how to select the proper one for the job. • Being able to read specifications and sequences of operations. • Be proficient in MS Visio. • Generate submittals and the documentation for the AE approval and execution of the project. • Understand Network topology. • Understand Delta Controls products and being able to determine which product is needed. • Being able to size valves and damper actuators. • Install Delta software and upload databases to a controller. • Work with Delta controls software. • Generate controller databases. • Proficient and experience in generating controls programs from a sequence of operations. Knowledgeable in line code programming, such as C# or Visual Basic • Commission, verification, and troubleshooting BAS systems • Strong experience and understanding of Building Automation system. • Understanding how controls work in relation to the mechanical equipment it operates. • Understanding of what root cause may generate the controls system to malfunction. • Requirements • 2 years of experience in working in projects or similar position. • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing. • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. • Ability to read and interpret documents such
