Requirements and responsibilities


• Become an expert in math video lessons with the support of our lead curriculum designer. • Plan the units and lessons needed to teach all math content + standards in grades K-12. • Write engaging and effective lesson scripts that will ensure students reach mastery. • Learn to build storyboards that communicate how to show math concepts clearly and visually. • Over time, build and manage a team to produce videos for all grade levels. • Set ambitious goals and timelines & develop strategies to achieve them. • Manage time wisely & stay self-motivated to meet deadlines on large and long-term projects. A typical week: • Conduct research and meet with our lead curriculum designer to plan an instructional unit composed of 10-20 lessons. • Plan 10-20 lessons by writing problems and planning your instructional approach. • Write 10-20 lesson scripts and create 10-20 storyboards that communicate exactly what you want to say and show to students. • Record your scripts to create the audio for each lesson. • Share resources and communicate with our video-production team to turn your plans into a video. • Review and provide feedback on videos to ensure quality. • Upload videos to Edpuzzle and embed interactive questions. • Over time, train + manage a team to do the above steps.
