Our client is launching a new team focused on supporting the development of a modern data warehouse. This fully remote role will focus on data quality, validation, controls, governance, and compliance across data initiatives. The Data Quality Analyst will serve as a bridge between business and technical teams, helping define accurate data requirements and ensuring project deliverables meet established quality standards.The Data Quality Analyst will use technology to automate data validations, profile datasets, apply business rules, and analyze results. The role will partner with data stewards and business teams to identify and resolve data quality issues, develop testing strategies, establish controls, and validate data through source-to-target comparisons. You will investigate data issues by tracing information through source systems, stored procedures, and mapping documentation to determine root causes and recommend improvements to queries, architecture, or data processes. This person will monitor established controls, support remediation efforts, and help ensure data implementations meet organizational standards, project requirements, and regulatory expectations.MUST:3 + years in a data quality engineer roleStrong building test automation specifically with azure devopsStrong experience with SQL analysisStrong coding with PythonCoding experience with SQLExperience with SASStrong data analysis experienceMUST come from a regulated industryVery strong with documentationGreat communication and experience bridging communication with data/IT and the businessExperience gathering requirements from the businessAbility to work EST hoursPLUS:Powerbi exposureBankingData Governance Certification (Dataversity, ICCP, CDMP, or others)
