Job title: Implementation & Onboarding Intern Type: Internship, part-time, 10-20 hours per week, 3-6 months Location: Remote, worldwide Compensation: Unpaid internship with a defined path to a paid contract or full-time role after a 3-month performance review. Academic credit supported where a school allows it. About the company: Melora Connect is association management software built for small associations and chambers of commerce - organizations under 500 members who have been priced out of or buried by the enterprise platforms. The product is built. We are a small team putting it in front of its first customers, which means everyone here works on things that matter immediately rather than on practice projects. Why this role exists: The reason a 200-member chamber stays on software it dislikes is not loyalty. It is that moving fifteen years of member records, dues history, and event data feels like a project that could go badly in public, in front of a board. Whoever makes that migration feel safe is the reason we win deals. That is this job. It is the least glamorous role on our team and the one most directly tied to whether the company works. What you will do: - Build the migration playbook: map how member data comes out of WildApricot, MemberClicks, StarChapter, Glue Up, and out of the spreadsheets many of these organizations actually run on. Document what breaks and how to handle it. - Build the import templates, field mappings, and validation checks that catch a bad file before it becomes a bad migration. - Run test migrations against sample and anonymized data until the process is boring. Boring is the goal. - Shadow real migrations. Live customer migrations are run by the founder with you alongside, following the playbook you wrote. - Write the onboarding documentation a new association actually reads: setup guides, first-week checklists, what to do before you switch. - Support the Melora Connect Academy, our eight-week onboarding course. Who we are looking for: You do not need to be technical, but you do need to be exact. You are comfortable in spreadsheets and can look at a messy 4,000-row export and see the problems in it. You are patient with non-technical people - our customers are executive directors and office managers, not IT staff. You write clearly, because half this job is documentation. You are detail-obsessed in a way that annoys people. Operations, data, library science, administrative, and customer success backgrounds all fit, as does anyone who has been the person at a nonprofit who had to clean up the member list. Students, recent graduates, and career changers are encouraged. Applicants worldwide welcome. What you get: a documented, tested migration methodology you built yourself, real experience with the platforms that dominate this category, structured training through our Melora Institute curriculum, direct access to the founder, and a substantive written reference. Implementation and onboarding is a well-paid, in-demand B2B SaaS career track that almost nobody enters deliberately. Skills required: data cleaning, Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, technical writing, documentation, customer onboarding, attention to detail, fluent English. Nice to have: SQL, CRM data management, customer success experience.
