We're looking for a part-time accountant to join our team and help keep the day-to-day accounting running smoothly across our properties. You'll take on the high-volume, repetitive work, invoices, reconciliations, recurring journal entries, and routine reporting, so the rest of the accounting team can stay focused on the bigger picture. Responsibilities This list is not a comprehensive list of all duties and responsibilities associated with this position. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed. ● Process high-volume accounts payable transactions, including invoice coding, matching, and entry ● Perform routine bank and account reconciliations across properties ● Post recurring and standard journal entries ● Maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records and logs using accounting software ● Process expense reports and employee reimbursements ● Support accounts receivable follow-up and collections tracking ● Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports for all entities and stakeholders as determined by the Senior Accountant/Controller ● Audit routine logs and transactional records to support the accuracy of financials ● Assist the accounting team with administrative and clerical support tasks as needed Minimum Qualifications ● Strong attention to detail ● Proactive mindset ● Consistency in meeting deadlines ● Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting ● Comfortable managing high-volume, repetitive transactional work without sacrificing accuracy ● Proficiency with accounting software and financial systems ● Critical thinking Benefits Compensation: $850 / month. 20 – 25 hours a week.
