As we move on to new projects, the studio that brought you Baldur’s Gate 3 & Divinity: Original Sin 2 is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to make sure our infrastructure runs smoothly and support users in Kuala Lumpur office.ResponsibilitiesMonitor server health and system performance to ensure uptime and reliability for critical building systemsPerform routine server maintenance, including patching, updates and backups, with a focus on minimizing disruptions to critical operationsAdminister Windows server and Linux environments and related server applicationsPerform general technical troubleshooting and give consultation to development teams. Ability to support incident discussion and resolutionMaintain detailed and accurate documentation on configurations, changes and standard operating procedures.Coordinate with vendors and service providers for software and hardware supportParticipate in incident response and emergency procedures related to studio building management systems.Participate in capacity planning in regard to user hardware and softwareCoordinate and maintain local studio IT infrastructure and communications, collaborating with global IT and studio management on server room upkeep and building modifications.Mentor junior IT sysadmin engineersCollaborate with international IT team in system development, testing and releaseSupport network, security, and Linux teams in their operations.Onboarding and offboarding process for usersProvide support for users in all studio locationsInventory and asset managementManage backup and storage infrastructureRequirementsExperience with ITSM, maintaining & improving systems & automation (FreshService/ServiceNow/ManageEngine)Knowledge of Windows Systems (Client and Server)Server: Microsoft Server 2019/2022, Active Directory, DFS, Terminal ServerClient: Windows 10/11Experienced in Cloud infrastructure AWS/AZURETroubleshooting skillsExperience managing a virtualised infrastructureExperience with Google Workplace, Office365, Atlassian SuiteUnderstanding of networking concepts (WAN,LAN,TCP/IP,VPN,VLAN)Working hours flexibility around infrastructure upgrades and migrationsThis is a full-time, on-site role, requiring your presence in the office to support collaboration and creativity.Nice to haveLinux experienceStorage and backup conceptsScripting languages (PHP, Javascript, SQL, Python, PowerShell, Bash)Background in large-scale migration projects and operating system upgradesExperience with Intune
