As part of our International Credit team, you will develop and iterate on risk models and credit policies that drive underwriting as a competitive advantage — and help launch innovative products that solve real customer problems.This individual will lead teams and workstreams focused on consumer behavior and needs, building solutions that ensure Tilt resiliently offers the right products. The right candidate thrives on complex challenges and leverages a diverse technical toolkit to drive impactful outcomes. This role reports to Tilt's Head of International Credit.How You'll Make an ImpactOwn Credit Strategy for Brazil: Develop and continuously refine credit policies for Tilt's Brazilian business, driving analysis to uncover novel insights that move our business forward.Collaborate on Data Science: Partner closely with the Data Science team to influence and deploy models that solve meaningful business outcomes.Build Scalable Infrastructure: Develop frameworks, infrastructure, and controls to manage credit programs with high quality and resiliency.Drive Growth with Leadership: Work with Brazil and Tilt's leadership teams to build strategy and growth plans while managing financial outcomes.Share Cross-Market Learnings: Partner with international credit and data science teams in the Philippines, Mexico, India, and the US to identify transferable strategies and help implement them.Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and finance leaders to ensure the team's work fits within the larger company picture.Grow the Team: Hire talented analysts and team members to staff new projects as the Brazilian business scales.Why You're a Great FitBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Computer Science, or Mathematics — a quantitative background is a strong plus.6+ years of industry experience in data analytics and credit risk management, ideally with experience in the Brazilian market.Proven experience leading and developing a team of analysts.Exceptionally strong problem-solving and communication skills — able to get deep in the weeds and present clearly to an executive audience.Eagerness to learn new tools and analytical methods, staying current with innovative trends and emerging products in the industry.Preference for candidates based in São Paulo.Don’t meet every qualification?
