Requirements and responsibilities

Araways is hiring remote full-time C2C contractual Senior Data QA / Automation Engineer for 6 months.Req Exp : 6 years+Shift Timings: 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM ISTKey Responsibilities :-Data Pipeline Testing:Validate end-to-end data ingestion, transformation, and consumption across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers.Perform source-to-target validation and ensure strict data consistency, completeness, and referential integrity.Automation Engineering:Design and develop automated test frameworks for data validation and regression.Build reusable Python/SQL/PySpark scripts for schema validation, reconciliation, and data drift detection.CI/CD Integration:Seamlessly integrate your automated test suites into our enterprise CI/CD pipelines.Databricks & Cloud Validation:Test Databricks workflows, notebooks, Delta Tables, and job orchestrations.Validate Delta Lake functionalities (ACID compliance, schema evolution, time travel) and optimize Spark-based transformation performance.What We Are Looking For :-Primary Technical Skills:Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark.Hands-on experience with Databricks and cloud data platforms.Deep understanding of Batch Pipelines, Incremental Loads, and CDC pipelines.Clear conceptual knowledge of the Medallion Architecture.Preferred Qualifications:-6 years+ of core experience in Data/ETL Testing.2+ years of dedicated experience in Databricks / Data Lakehouse projects.Proven experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery models.Bonus: Certifications in Databricks, Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), or advanced testing tools.If interested plz share your resume.
