RPSGT Clinical Support Specialist - Remote This role is for registered polysomnographic techniciansMedBridge Healthcare, a leader in sleep laboratory management services and sleep therapy, partners with hospitals and physician practices to provide comprehensive, fully integrated care solutions. Our approach supports every step of sleep disorder management, from patient identification and testing to diagnosis, treatment, and long-term care.We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Support Specialist with a background in sleep medicine for a full-time, mid-shift role. This position requires three 12-hour shifts each week, from 7 pm to 7 am EST, covering Sunday - Tuesday and rotating Saturdays. Candidates with supervisory experience, multi-state licenses, or additional credentials are preferred.Reporting to the Manager of the Clinical Support Department, the Clinical Support Specialist will provide essential clinical and technical assistance to the MedBridge Healthcare team and contribute to our Home Sleep Testing (HST) department, ensuring the highest standard of care for our patients with sleep disorders.MUST have a current RPSGT MUST reside within one of the following states: AL, DE, FL, GA, KY, MD, NJ, NC, OH, SC, and TNPrimary Responsibilities will include:Provide clinical support through a variety of communication platforms including phone, remote computer access systems, and texting platformsProvide clinical support to sleep labs according to the preset policies and procedures developed by the area’s medical directorAssist Physicians with editing report and interpretation templates in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systemsProvide training for the night clinical support staff as neededProvide technical support to sleep center staffProvide training to client staff, physicians, and MedBridge employeesProvide support for HST patients, including follow up calls to assure patients receive equipmentHelp to develop clinical operations procedures to improve current standards for diagnostic sleep centersSecondary Responsibilities will include:Evaluating study data quality for in lab and HST studiesScore HST, MSLT, MWT, PSG, SPLIT, and PAP studiesAnalyze data that has been acquired during the polysomnographic (sleep) studyReview and train employees on Lab Retriever functions, sleep software, and scoring processesPerform quality assessments on technologist scoring and acquisitionsProduce comprehensive reports and forward them to the interpreting physician for interpretationComply with applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, and standards regarding safety and infection control issuesOther clinical duties as requiredMaintain strict confidentialityJob Requirements:High School diplomaRegister Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) credential holderLicensure in the states that require Licensure for scoring of diagnostic tests (as-needed)BLS/CPR-certifiedGraduate of a Polysomnography educational program preferredAssociates degree preferred but not necessaryBachelor’s degree preferred but not necessaryMinimum of five years’ experience in sleep medicine as a Polysomnographic TechnologistMinimum of two years’ experience in scoring of sleep studiesMinimum two years’ experience with HST devicesKnowledge of all aspects of polysomnography and sleep medicine protocols.Knowledge of how to operate and maintain a variety of sleep equipmentKnowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines and standards regarding safety and infection control issuesKnowledge of how to instruct staff according to the policies and proceduresIf working remotely access to high speed internetSkill in use of computer and softwareSkill in appropriate quality control and confidentiality proceduresSkill in analyzing data and situations to implement and administer procedures and to resolve technical, administrative, and patient related problemsAbility to learn and use multiple sleep software programsAbility to exercise independent judgement for decision making and discretionAbility to analyze complex situations and apply policyAbility to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with staffAbility to educate staff, patients, and families effectively STATEMENT OF POLICYMedBridge is an equal opportunity employer.
