A Carter Lumber Wall Panel Designer is responsible for designing plans for the quoting and production of wall panels. Ensures drawings are produced accurately and timely based off of blueprints provided by customers. Requires the knowledge of commonly used framing concepts and practices within the construction industry. A strong belief in the mission and goals of the company are necessary to this position.Requirements:Experience in designing residential and commercial wall panelsGeneral computer knowledgeExperience with MiTek and/or equivalent wall panel design softwareAbility to read and comprehend blueprintsAttention to detail, takes pride in quality of workEfficient and able to complete orders within a given deadlineKnowledge of standard construction practices, codes and carpentryStrong verbal and written communication skillsCommunicates effectively with team membersThis is a remote/virtual position.
