As an SRE you’ll be focused on running better production applications and systems.Responsibilities:Design, code, test and deliver software to automate manual operational workTroubleshoot priority incidents, facilitate blameless post-mortems and ensure permanent closure of incidentsEngage with development team throughout the life cycle to help develop software for reliability and scale, ensuring minimal refactoring or changesIdentify application patterns and analytics in support of better service level objectivesDesign self-healing and resiliency patternsDesign automated software and product upgrades, change management, and release management solutionsParticipate in the 24×7 support coverage as neededMentor and guide junior developersRequirements: Expertise in at least one technology stack designing, coding, testing, and delivering softwareProficiency in one or more technology domains, may be a cross-domain expert able to solve complex and mission critical problems within a business or across the companyWorking knowledge of infrastructure components (e.g. routers, load balancers, cloud products , container systems , compute, storage and networks)Excellent debugging and trouble shooting skillsPrior experience in DevOps and/or application development teamsHands on experience using large scale software development, preferably in one of these languages: Java, Python, scripting languagesHands on experience of Kubernetes, Docker, Docker Swarm style deploymentsExposure on data-dog and data-dog monitoringHands on experience of Continuous Delivery toolsHands on experience in Unix: Linux and SolarisExposure to Orchestration and configuration management tools for applicationsExperience with infrastructure components utilized in data warehousing or big data environmentsExcellent communication skills, both written and oral appropriately scaled for senior technical and senior business audienceAbility to work and effectively prioritize in a highly dynamic work environment that includes a global focus
