Our AI-powered platform enables robots to tackle unprecedented challenges through an intuitive instruction interface, bringing the power of software automation to physical spaces.What you'll doProvide on-site technical support for customers including diagnosis, repair, maintenance, and optimization of Standard Bots robotsConduct preventive maintenance visits and safety inspections to ensure optimal robot performanceTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues both on-site and remotelyProvide remote technical support via phone, email, and video conferencing when on-site visits are not requiredTrain customers on robot operation, programming, and basic troubleshooting proceduresDocument all service activities — including ticket notes, parts usage, and resolution details — in our CRM systemManage spare parts inventory and ensure proper tools and equipment are available for service callsCollaborate with internal teams to escalate complex issues and contribute feedback for product improvementsAchieve field service KPIs for ticket resolution and first-time fix ratesBasic Qualifications:Travel Requirement: This role will travel up to 80% of the timeAssociate degree or higher in a technical field, engineering, mechatronics, or related discipline2+ years of hands-on experience in robotics, industrial automation, or electromechanical systemsProven experience with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting at customer sitesValid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to travel extensively (60–80% field time)Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and multimeters and the ability to read and interpret technical documentation, wiring diagrams, and schematicsPhysical capability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various manufacturing environmentsExcellent customer service skills with professional communication abilitiesLocated within 1 hour of a major airportPreferred Qualifications:Previous experience with collaborative robots (cobots) or industrial robot maintenance and repairExperience with PLC systems, industrial controllers, or automation networksFamiliarity with machine vision systems, sensors, grippers, and end-of-arm toolingProgramming knowledge in Python, C++, or robot programming languagesExperience with Linux/Ubuntu operating systems and networking fundamentalsCertifications in robotics, electrical safety, or related technical disciplinesCompensation and Benefits:The salary range for this role is $80,000 to $120,000, depending on experience. We are open to a variety of seniority levels for this role and will build compensation packages that are commensurate with seniority and skill level. Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at Standard Bots. All Full-Time Employees are eligible for Employee Stock Options. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees.
