Assist prospective students who have expressed an interest in continuing their education by working with each student to: • Identify each student’s unique educational and professional goals and any challenges that may prevent the student from achieving those goals • Provide complete and accurate information about National American University, including its programs and support services • Assist in formulating an education plan that addresses both goals and challenges (or refer the student to another educational institution when appropriate) • Guide the student through the application and enrollment process • Provide other assistance as appropriate to support students’ decision to continue their education. • Achieve and maintain proficient, comprehensive, and accurate understanding of academic programs, university policies, and student support services. • Enroll students who are committed to completing their program of study and regularly communicate with them during the enrollment process. • Facilitate communication between students and other university departments, as appropriate. • Communicate with the student’s assigned Success Coach, both verbally and through the contact management system, about issues that may need further attention to assist the student to be successful. • Act with the highest integrity and professionalism in performing duties and responsibilities in compliance with all university policies, procedures, and ethical standards, including those set forth in the Admissions Code of Conduct and the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics. • Comply with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and all other applicable laws and regulations. • Maintain acceptable student satisfaction levels. • Document all required activities within the university’s enrollment management system and maintain current, accurate records and reports in accordance with university policies, procedures, and practices. • Participate in training, practice sessions, and professional development activities. • Assist in creating and implementing strategies to contribute to student success. • Perform other duties as assigned.
