The successful candidate will oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with the institute’s strategic goals and research objectives. Can be remote.What you'll doManage daily operations of research projects, balancing timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.Facilitate communication and collaboration among interdisciplinary team members, researchers, and external partners.Track project progress, compile reports, and present updates to stakeholders.Identify and mitigate risks impacting project scope, schedule, or quality.Support grant application processes and contribute to research dissemination strategies.Promote a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring best practices in project management are applied.QualificationsProven experience managing projects in a research or academic setting.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to engage with diverse teams.Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.Ability to adapt to evolving research priorities and dynamic team needs.A relevant degree or equivalent professional experience.Need to be willing to work at odd hours and be available on weekends.NotesThis role demands a balance of strategic oversight and hands-on management to advance the institute’s mission of exploring computational sciences.
