You’ll lead the data migration process during onboarding, translating customers’ historical investment data into the InvestNext data structure and ensuring it’s accurate, reliable, and ready for day-to-day use. This role blends financial understanding, technical problem-solving, and process improvement. You’ll work closely with customers and internal teams to manage data imports, improve and automate migration workflows where possible, and help set the foundation for long-term customer success.Who We AreThe Onboarding team within the Customer Experience department at InvestNext helps set customers up for long-term success from day one. Data Migration Specialists specialize in translating historical investment data into a clean, accurate foundation within the InvestNext platform, partnering closely with customers during a critical moment in their onboarding journey. Our work blends financial understanding, technical precision, and clear communication to ensure every migration is both reliable and thoughtfully executed. We’re a collaborative, improvement-minded team that values strong fundamentals, ownership, and learning as we go. Whether we’re streamlining processes, building smarter automation, or working cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Customer Experience, we care deeply about doing the work well—and doing it together.In this role, you willManage and execute data migrations within the client onboarding process, gathering, analyzing, and processing client historical data during each migration, and following up with the client to ensure onboarding timelines are metProvide customer training to ensure they understand the way they would interact with the system to achieve their goalsSupport the creation of onboarding support assets for current and new customersCreate Excel import templates based on provided historical investment dataBuild out Macros and automation to simplify the data import process to create efficiency and support continuous improvement effortsProvide feedback to the Product team on potential changes or improvements gathered from customer interactionsParticipate in Customer Experience departmental meetings to share project priorities and communicate any roadblocks to the teamJoin sales demos to help scope and set expectations for customer data migrations as neededConduct quality checks on the conversion of sponsor and investor data imported into InvestNext’s PlatformTrack KPIs and metrics to gauge the overall health of new onboarding customersIf you're right for this role, you haveIncredibly strong Excel competencyExperience in a professional or secondary education financial environmentExperience with data migration, creating Macros and automationExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsA natural ability to teach folks, addressing questions and concerns with clarity and empathyPersonal organization and project management skills, owning a process from start to finishFamiliarity with CRM and project management softwareBonus points: Professional experience supporting a technical product, such as SaaS or other software in a data-related capacityExperience as an analyst or associate in an investment management firmCompensationWe’re committed to paying fairly and competitively and utilize market data as a starting point when developing total compensation for all roles.
