Location: Zurich, Switzerland Working Mode: Hybrid (3days per week on-site in Zurich) Hiring Type: Contract Duration: 6months initially (extension anticipated) Experience: 5+ years Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Captiva & Kofax Lead Developer to design, implement, and support enterprise-level document capture and workflow solutions. This role involves end-to-end workflow configuration, OCR/ICR development, system automation, integrations, and ongoing environment maintenance. Key Responsibilities Document Capture & Workflow Design Design and implement document capture workflows using Captiva Capture and Kofax Capture (KC). Configure batch classes, troubleshoot batch failures, and optimize high-volume capture processes. Build OCR/ICR solutions using Captiva Advanced Recognition and configure Kofax KTM for classification and data extraction. Set up locators, evaluators, and knowledge bases for high-accuracy recognition. Automation & Integration Automate workflows using Kofax TotalAgility (KTA) and Captiva APIs. Implement Kofax Import/Export Connectors (KIC) and Captiva export modules for various input sources. Integrate with REST/SOAP services and enterprise downstream systems. Customization & Development Develop custom logic using .NET (C#/VB) and scripting within Captiva and Kofax environments. Write and optimize SQL Server queries and stored procedures for validation and reporting. Maintenance & Support Perform upgrades, patches, and migrations across Captiva and Kofax platforms. Provide L2/L3 production support, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement preventive actions. Monitor and fine-tune system performance. Compliance & Documentation Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and audit requirements. Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and test plans. Collaboration Partner with business SMEs to define capture rules, validation logic, and workflow requirements. Required Skills • Extensive hands-on experience with Captiva Capture, Kofax Capture, KTM, and KTA. • Strong expertise in OCR/ICR configuration, advanced recognition, and knowledge base tuning. • Proficiency in .NET (C#/VB) development and scripting. • Solid SQL Server skills (queries, stored procedures). • Experience with Captiva APIs, Kofax connectors, and API integrations. • Ability to troubleshoot issues and optimize performance. • Experience with upgrades, patches, and migrations in Captiva and Kofax environments. • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
