About the Role We are looking for a Senior Software Test Engineer to ensure high software quality across our products. In this role, you will plan, execute, and automate tests, identify defects, and work closely with developers and product teams to deliver reliable and high-quality solutions. Responsibilities Test Design & Execution - Design and develop comprehensive automated test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements. - Execute automated and manual tests to validate application behavior. - Maintain and update existing automation tests to reflect product changes and new features. Bug Identification & Reporting - Analyze test results to identify defects and inconsistencies. - Create detailed bug reports with clear reproduction steps and logs. - Collaborate closely with developers to investigate, verify, and retest fixes. Collaboration - Participate in planning and refinement meetings. - Work with product owners and stakeholders to clarify business requirements. - Proactively suggest quality improvements aligned with project goals. Documentation & Reporting - Maintain test documentation, test results, and QA metrics. - Define QA strategies and quality assurance processes. - Provide regular updates on testing status and quality risks. Requirements - 5+ years of experience in Software Test Engineering. - Strong expertise with Cypress and Cypress Dashboard. - Solid knowledge of TypeScript or JavaScript. - Experience working with databases (preferably Azure Data Studio or SSMS). - Proven ability to create test plans and test cases from requirements and documentation. - Experience with both manual and automated testing. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field. Nice to Have - Experience with TestRail, Bitbucket, Jira. - CI/CD experience (preferably TeamCity). - Background in the Insurance domain.
