Position Summary We are seeking a Sales Director & Client Growth to lead and expand our business development efforts across Indiana and surrounding regions. This high-impact role is ideal for a strategic, relationship-driven sales leader with proven success in B2B sales, especially within commercial cleaning, janitorial, or facility service industries. As Sales Director & Client Growth, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing new client relationships, and securing long-term service contracts. This role requires someone who is both strategic and hands-on, someone comfortable actively pursuing new opportunities through networking, direct outreach, and in-person meetings with potential clients. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated business developer who thrives on opening doors, building relationships from the ground up, and converting opportunities into long-term partnerships. You will collaborate closely with executive leadership to refine sales strategies, develop competitive proposals, and position IFS as a trusted facility solutions provider for healthcare, education, industrial, and government sectors. This role combines sales leadership with active business development, requiring someone who can both drive strategy and personally generate new opportunities. Key Responsibilities Business Development & Client AcquisitionDevelop and execute sales strategies to expand IFS’s client base and revenue streams. Actively prospect and generate new business opportunities through networking, cold outreach, referrals, and in-person visits to potential client facilities. Build relationships with facility managers, property managers, and operational decision-makers across multiple industries. Conduct site visits, facility walkthroughs, and client meetings to understand operational needs and position IFS solutions effectively. Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects and consistently move opportunities through the sales cycle. Partner with leadership to design and deliver competitive pricing structures and service proposals. Negotiate and secure new service contracts while maintaining strong professional relationships. Client Success & Retention Strengthen long-term client partnerships through trust, responsiveness, and operational excellence. Support contract renewals and identify opportunities for upselling or expanded service agreements.Collaborate with operations and management to ensure client satisfaction and high-quality service delivery. Maintain consistent communication with clients to identify evolving needs and opportunities.Leadership & Strategy Collaborate with executive leadership to refine and execute growth strategies. Provide leadership and structure for the sales and account management process. Analyze market trends, client feedback, and sales performance metrics to improve strategy and performance. Represent IFS at industry events, networking functions, and community partnerships to strengthen brand presence and generate new opportunities. Key Qualifications Minimum 4 years of B2B sales experience, with at least 5 years in a management or leadership role. Demonstrated experience developing new business through proactive outreach, networking, and in-person prospecting. Proven track record of personally generating and closing $2–5 million in annual sales revenue. Experience selling service-based or recurring contract solutions preferred. Strong ability to build and manage a sales pipeline through self-generated leads and relationship-building efforts. Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to confidently engage decision-makers and present service solutions that address operational needs. Strong analytical ability and familiarity with CRM systems and data-driven sales metrics. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required. Work Environment You’ll lead business growth across diverse industries including healthcare, education, and commercial facilities. This role requires flexibility for regular client visits, networking events, and in-person presentations, as well as the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with company leadership.
