About the roleThe Program Manager is responsible for supporting the execution of key initiatives during an initial 3-5-month temporary period, with strong potential for conversion to full-time roles based on performance and organizational needs. One role will serve as a maternity leave cover, while the second role supports broader program delivery and scaling needs.Both roles will work across a portfolio of initiatives, including:AI Readiness Program, which convenes and supports State, Territorial, and Tribal Chief AI Advisors with the adoption and implementation of emerging technology to improve government services through convenings, funding, brokering of partnerships, and publishing information.Health & Human Services initiatives that focus on partnering with state agencies and stakeholders to modernize public benefits delivery through human-centered design and AI to reduce administrative burden, improve accuracy, and expand equitable access to essential services. These initiatives include: The Public Benefit Innovation Fund, a philanthropic venture fund and R&D lab that invests in and pilots emerging technologies for public benefit systems; and Clearinghouse, a set of technical assistance services for state HHS program leaders and staff.These roles will play a critical part in managing program operations, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of convenings, partnerships, and cross-functional initiatives.
