Job DescriptionThe Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a vital role as the front line of Impruvon Health’s growth engine. This team is responsible for initiating meaningful conversations with key decision-makers, identifying qualified opportunities, and setting the stage for successful sales cycles. You will report directly to the Business Development Director, receiving consistent training, coaching, and support while working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.This role involves structured outreach, strategic discovery, coordination with the Sales Team, pipeline management, and ongoing learning about our platform and the IDD and behavioral health industries. Because BDRs are the first point of contact for nearly all new revenue and client relationships, the quality of work in this role directly impacts the company’s success.Key ResponsibilitiesOutreach and QualificationBuild and manage a pipeline through strategic discovery, relationship development, and opportunity creationConduct high-volume outbound outreach via phone, email, and LinkedInPersonalize outreach based on research into organization structure, services, and needsCommunicate Impruvon Health’s value clearly and confidentlyLead discovery conversations to qualify prospects based on workflows, state regulations, and current processesAsk targeted questions to ensure strong fit before passing leads to SalesEnsure Sales enters meetings informed, positioned, and respected—not coldCollaboration and Sales SupportPartner with Account Executives to ensure well-prepared meetings and smooth handoffsRe-engage stalled opportunities and assist with follow-ups or reactivation as neededSupport Account Executives in maintaining momentum when accounts go unresponsiveShare context, notes, and key insights before handing off qualified leadsContinuous ImprovementParticipate in coaching and role-play sessions to improve outreach and objection handlingUpdate outreach strategies, discovery questions, and lead lists based on feedbackStay up to date on platform updates, product features, and industry trendsCampaign and Event SupportFollow up on inbound leads from marketing campaigns, events, and webinarsHelp maintain CRM accuracy with regular data cleanupGrowth and DevelopmentSet and track personal goals with the Business Development DirectorContribute field insights to inform sales strategies and workflowsAttend occasional conferences or events to support lead generationSuccess in This RoleConsistently book qualified, high-value meetings with decision-makersHelp Sales convert those meetings into real opportunities and revenueShorten sales cycles through thorough discovery and clean handoffsRe-engage stalled accounts and uncover expansion opportunitiesInfluence messaging and strategy by sharing what you learn from the fieldAre seen as a strategic partner to Sales, not just a meeting setter
