We believe innovation and empathy go hand in hand, and that by combining cutting-edge AI tools with a relentless focus on human care, we can transform heart health at scale.Role OverviewWe’re looking for a Medical Director to build and scale Chamber’s care programs while also serving as Chamber’s physician leader for clinical quality and documentation integrity. This leader will guide our care team’s clinical excellence, partner with Product to design tech-enabled workflows, and drive the development of innovative care and quality models that improve outcomes and payer performance across our population.The ideal candidate combines deep clinical expertise with a builder’s mindset. We want someone who can own a quality and risk agenda that is directly tied to payer contract performance, collaborate on product design, and translate clinical strategy into scalable systems that deliver measurable results.Key ResponsibilitiesClinical ProgrammingLead Chamber’s growing clinical programs ensuring adherence to evidence-based protocols and continuous improvement.Develop and pilot new clinical programs and pathwaysClinical Quality & Documentation IntegrityOwn Stars/HEDIS clinical strategy, defining the measures and interventions that improve quality performance with payersLead risk coding strategy and clinical documentation improvement (CDI), ensuring accurate, complete capture of patient risk and acuity.Serve as the physician owner for quality building clinical credibility with the network on these topics.Clinical Innovation & Product CollaborationPartner with Product, Engineering, and Analytics teams to design and test AI-enabled clinical tools, workflows, and dashboardsTranslate clinical needs into product specifications that streamline care delivery and measurement.Evaluate and operationalize innovations that improve clinical efficiency and documentation integrity.Data-Driven Outcomes & QualityDefine and monitor metrics for outcomes, utilization, medication adherence, qualityPartner with analytics to identify opportunities for intervention, improvement, and automation.Collaboration & Cross-Functional LeadershipWork cross-functionally with Operations and Network teams to translate strategy into execution.Serve as a clinical voice with particular emphasis on quality and risk performance, to communicate Chamber’s value.Contribute to internal leadership discussions on care design, quality improvement, and program expansion.What You’ll Achieve in Your First 90 DaysComplete an assessment of current quality performance and identify near-term intervention opportunities.Support ongoing clinical programs and develop new program pipeline.Collaborate with Product to launch Chamber’s AI-enabled clinical workflows and provider tools.RequirementsMD or DO (Cardiology, Internal Medicine, or related specialty).3+ years of experience in clinical leadership or value-based care programs.Demonstrated success leading interdisciplinary clinical teams.Experience with quality programs and clinical documentation integrity strongly preferred.Proven ability to design, test, and implement new clinical programs or technology-enabled workflows.Strong understanding of payer-provider alignment, outcomes measurement, and risk-based models.Collaborative communicator who thrives at the intersection of medicine, technology, and systems design.Chamber ValuesOur values guide how we lead, collaborate, and care:Low Ego: We stay grounded, curious, and open to feedback.Empathy: We build trust through compassion and thoughtful communication.Courage: We take action, think critically, and challenge ideas respectfully.Ownership: We follow through with integrity and hold ourselves to high standards.Grit: We push through ambiguity, move with urgency, and solve hard problems with horsepower and heart.LocationRemote.
