Join our team and help build a world-class Vulnerability Detection & Response (VDR) program focused on rapid remediation and operational excellence.📍 Location: RemoteKey Responsibilities:Develop and maintain vulnerability response runbooks for triage, remediation, verification, and emergency patching.Design and implement on-call processes and PagerDuty escalation workflows.Drive vulnerabilities through the complete lifecycle—from evaluation and prioritization to remediation and verified closure.Build remediation verification processes to ensure fixes are validated in deployed production environments.Create SLA dashboards, telemetry, and drift alerts for proactive vulnerability management.Collaborate with engineering teams on patching strategies, dependency upgrades, and compensating controls.Conduct tabletop exercises and continuously improve operational response playbooks.Train security and platform teams while producing comprehensive operational documentation.Required Skills:6+ years of experience in Security Operations, Vulnerability Management, or Detection & ResponseHands-on experience with patch management, container image updates, and dependency remediationStrong experience writing operational runbooks and incident response proceduresKnowledge of CISA KEV, EPSS, vendor advisories, and vulnerability prioritizationExperience with PagerDuty (or similar alerting/on-call tools) and SLA-driven workflowsStrong understanding of cloud-native environments including AWS EKS/ECS, ECR, CI/CD, and containersPreferred Skills:Experience with FedRAMP or other regulated environmentsHands-on with DefectDojo or similar vulnerability management platformsIncident Response and emergency patch management experienceExperience conducting tabletop exercises and operational readiness reviews📩 Interested candidates can apply now or reach out directly to pallavi.singhal@cibronix.com or https://lnkd.in/g5C48HbTPlease mention "Security Engineer – Detection & Response Operations" in the subject line or message.
