This role sits at the intersection of customer empathy, sales strategy, and technical execution, helping providers and care teams see the real value of Canvas Medical's EMR by transforming their workflows into working solutions during the sales process.As a Solutions Consultant, you'll engage directly with prospects, customers, and internal stakeholders to identify the workflows that matter most to their operations. You'll translate these insights into end-to-end solution proposals and build MVP versions of those solutions using Canvas's customization tools, so prospects can see their future workflows running on the platform before they sign. You'll also develop and deploy agents alongside prospective customers as part of the sales process, putting working automation directly into their hands. Your primary building method will be AI and agent-assisted development, using tools like Claude Code to move from discovery to working plugin quickly.The ideal candidate brings deep curiosity about healthcare technology and genuine comfort with AI-assisted development. You don't need formal software development experience, though it's certainly preferred. What matters is that you're comfortable with AI tooling, excited about applying new tools as they emerge, and eager to see how agent-assisted development evolves. High performers evolve into senior solution consultants who lead small pods, shape pre-sales delivery strategies, and expand what agent-assisted development can do on the Canvas platform. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence how Canvas wins customers and how quickly prospects see their workflows come to life.LocationWe are a fully remote, distributed team but encourage in-person collaboration in our office in San Francisco, or one of our satellite locations which for this role is in Washington DC.
