Requirements and responsibilities

We are looking for a hands-on SAP Commerce Cloud (CCv2) developer with strong, demonstrable expertise in the JSP-based Accelerator storefront (as opposed to Spartacus/Composable Storefront). This role is for clients still running or migrating within the traditional Accelerator stack, where deep JSP, JSTL, and Hybris tag-library skills are non-negotiable.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, customize, and maintain storefront pages using JSP, JSTL, and Hybris tag libraries within the Accelerator (b2b/b2c-acceleratorstorefront) architectureWork across the ContentPage/Component (CMS) model, including CMSComponent development, restriction rules, and page templates rendered via JSPCustomize Spring MVC controllers (*PageController, *Controller) that back JSP viewsImplement and modify WCMS content slots, responsive design elements, and storefront UI following brand/UX specsIntegrate frontend JSP views with backend services (OCC APIs, facades, populators, DTOs)Work with addon architecture (extending core accelerator addons: acceleratorcms, acceleratorstorefrontcommons, etc.)Debug and resolve rendering, caching (CMS cache, ETag), and performance issues specific to JSP-rendered pagesEnsure code follows CCv2 cloud-compatible conventions (no local file system dependencies, proper build pipeline compliance)Participate in code reviews, SIT/UAT support, and production deployment cycles on CCv2Must-Have SkillsStrong, recent hands-on JSP development — this is the single most important filter; candidates must show real accelerator-storefront project experience, not just Spartacus/Angular backgroundJSTL, custom tag libraries, EL expressionsSAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) core: items.xml, FlexibleSearch, ImpEx, BackofficeSpring MVC / Spring Framework (controllers, interceptors, validators)Java 8/11, OOP, design patterns used in Hybris (Populator, Facade, Strategy)CCv2 build & deploy pipeline familiarity (Cloud Portal, Jenkins/Azure Pipelines)Responsive frontend basics: HTML5, CSS3, jQuery/Bootstrap (as used in accelerator themes)Git-based version controlGood-to-HaveExposure to AEM, WCMS/SmartEdit content authoringCDC, or payment gateway integration experienceCI/CD experience specific to CCv2 (Cloud Portal, Terraform for CCv2 if applicable)Screening Note (for Recruiter / Tech Panel)Many candidates today only know Spartacus/Composable Storefront. This JD specifically needs someone who can point to real JSP-based accelerator project work — ask for a code walkthrough of a custom JSP page/controller they built, not just theoretical knowledge.
