You will operate at the center of the business, focusing on the most important constraint at any given time.Your mandate is simple: Find bottlenecks. Fix them. Build systems so they don’t break again.What You’ll Work On1. Strategic Problem Solving Diagnose the biggest growth or operational bottleneck in the business Build structured solutions to remove constraints in revenue, conversion, retention, or delivery Turn ambiguous problems into clear execution plans 2. Execution at Speed Own high-priority initiatives end-to-end Move quickly from problem → solution → implementation Work directly with the founder on fast-moving priorities across marketing, sales, and operations 3. Systems & Process Building Build SOPs, dashboards, and operating systems Translate founder knowledge into repeatable, scalable processes Improve operational reliability across the business 4. Cross-Functional Ownership Work across marketing, sales, student delivery, and operations Identify friction in funnels and internal workflows and remove it Ensure execution actually happens—not just plansRequirementsWhat We’re Looking For 1–4 years in a high-intensity role (startup, scale-up, or founder-led environment) Proven ownership mindset — you don’t wait to be told what to do Strong bias for action — you execute in hours, not days Structured thinking — you can break messy problems into clear steps High comfort with ambiguity and rapid context switching Strong written and verbal communication Experience in small teams (<20 people) preferred This Role Is For You If You thrive in ambiguity and fast-moving environments You prefer execution over meetings and theory You want direct exposure to how a profitable, bootstrapped company is scaled You want to work 1:1 with a founder shaping every part of the business This is not a coordination role.It is a founder-level execution role without the title, designed for someone who wants to sit inside the decision-making core of a high-growth, profitable business and help scale it through systems, speed, and ruthless prioritization.BenefitsSalary: $2k-$3k (depending on experience) Equity: 0.5% – 1% (4-year vesting, 1-year cliff; additional grants tied to milestones) Location: Fully remote Working hours: Flexible, with overlap required 12pm–5pm California time
