You will work closely with Product teams, clients, and other internal stakeholders to design and develop platform features that enable the business to deliver on its core mission. This is an exciting opportunity to grow professionally while contributing to a mission-driven organization.Responsibilities:Build, review, and maintain mission-critical production systems, primarily in Go.Help evolve DevOps practices, including CI/CD, Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation.Set the standard for reliability, security, and observability, ensuring features perform at scale rather than simply shipping.Manage technical debt and make high-stakes architectural trade-offs that align with business growth.Act as a bridge between the platform and the customer, designing proofs-of-concept and supporting complex integrations.Cultivate a culture of excellence by leading through code reviews, design docs, and hands-on support for global teams.RequirementsMust-have skills (required)5+ years of experience designing, building, and operating complex software systems at scale.Mastery of Go (Golang): able to write idiomatic, concurrent, and performant Go code.Cloud-native proficiency: treats Kubernetes and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/CloudFormation) as standard tools in a senior engineer's toolkit.AWS/GCP expertise: deep experience navigating managed services, networking, and cloud security within AWS or GCP.Distributed systems background: strong grounding in microservices, asynchronous messaging, and data consistency.Proven experience with CI/CD automation and observability stacks (e.g., New Relic, Prometheus, or ELK).Client-facing presence: able to explain complex technical roadmaps to non-technical stakeholders with confidence.Academic and professional requirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Nice-to-have skills (preferred)Experience working with LLMs, prompt engineering, model evaluation pipelines, and techniques for improving model quality and reliability.Our current tech stack includesFrontend: JavaScript, React, TypeScriptBackend: Go, Python, Ruby on RailsDatabases: DynamoDB, DocumentDB, and PostgresDeployment: GitHub ActionsObservability: New Relic, GrafanaInfrastructure: AWS services, GCP, AzureBenefitsGreat Mission and CultureMeaningful WorkMarket competitive salaryQuarterly variable compensationHybrid Working ModelComprehensive medical coverGroup life insurancePersonal development and growth opportunitiesAt CloudFactory, we believe that work should be more than just a job—it should be a platform for growth, impact, and community.
