We are committed to hiring the best, most talented people and empowering them to thrive, grow meaningful careers and to find a place where they belong.Senior DevOps EngineerWhat this job involves:About the role#JLLTechAmbitionsWe are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who is a self-starter to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment to support, maintain and advance the capabilities of the enterprise data platform.This is an individual contributor role that is responsible for designing, developing and supporting solutions that are strategic for the business and built on the latest technologies and patterns.This a global role that requires partnering with the broader JLLT team at the country, regional and global level by utilizing in-depth knowledge of Azure, infrastructure, technologies and DevSecOps engineering experience.ResponsibilitiesPlatform Development & User ExperienceCollaborate with application teams to prioritize and deliver new user-facing functionality, including data ingestion capabilities, subscription-based data consumption models, and advanced analytics featuresDesign and implement internal platform capabilities such as comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems, automated testing frameworks, and performance optimization toolsManage and maintain support queues across data platform domains (Ingest, Prepare, Storage, Consume) while establishing and meeting agreed-upon SLAsInfrastructure as Code & Cloud EngineeringDesign, build, and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform, including modules, workspaces, state management, and CI/CD integrationStandardize environment provisioning processes across development, staging, and production environmentsDevelop scalable, reliable, and well-monitored infrastructure components that form the backbone of JLL's data platformChampion and implement "Infrastructure as Code" practices across the entire platform teamFinancial Operations & Cost GovernanceEstablish comprehensive tagging strategies, budget controls, and chargeback mechanisms to ensure transparent cost allocation.Optimize compute, storage, and job configurations for cost efficiency while maintaining performance standards.Implement storage lifecycle policies and automated cost optimization practices.Team Leadership & CollaborationMentor and coach application teams on tools, technologies, and design patterns to promote best practices across the organization.Participate in monthly Architecture Review Board meetings, providing technical expertise and infrastructure perspective.Collaborate closely with application team leads to ensure CI/CD frameworks, component monitoring, and incident escalation procedures meet team needsWork with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to unblock deliverables and enable rapid innovation.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance platform reliability, performance, and cost-effectivenessSounds like you? To apply you need to be:Experience & EducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent professional experience5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering rolesExpert-level proficiency with Azure services and Cloud Architecture patternsAdvanced experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly TerraformStrong background in CI/CD pipeline design and implementationExperience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration platformsProficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Go, or similar)Solid understanding of data platform technologies and big data ecosystemsExperience with monitoring and observability tools (DataDog,CloudWatch, Prometheus, or similar)What we can do for you: You’ll join an entrepreneurial, inclusive culture.
