We're a lean team in a zero-to-one phase, which means you won't just be designing systems and delegating. You'll be rolling up your sleeves and executing across accounting, treasury, compliance, and financial operations yourself. You'll inherit a small finance team, but the expectation is that you're hands-on, not hands-off.You'll report to the COO and work closely across the business on everything from day-to-day financial operations through to capital strategy and investor reporting.Finance at Dicey is not a support function, it's core to how the product operates. You'll be responsible for how money moves through a real-time gaming system, how risk is managed, and how performance is understood at scale across fiat, crypto, and our own token ($ME).What You'll OwnTeam & Operations LeadershipLead a small existing finance team, setting priorities, ownership, and standardsThis is a working leadership role, you'll be directly executing alongside the team, not just overseeingBuild out processes and systems that allow the function to scale without adding headcount unnecessarilyAccounting & ControllershipOwn the full accounting function: month-end close, reconciliations, financial statements, and audit readinessManage accounts payable and payroll operationsOwn tax compliance across all operating jurisdictions, corporate tax, GST/VAT, withholding tax, and transfer pricing for multi-entity structuresLead crypto and digital asset accounting, including transaction-level reporting, wallet reconciliation, and classification across fiat and on-chain activityOwn $ME token reporting, accounting treatment, valuation requirements, and financial disclosures in line with applicable standardsManage equity and token administration, including the cap table, option pool, token grant ledgers, and associated reportingCompliance & RegulatoryOwn AML/CTF compliance obligations and KYC processes across all operating jurisdictionsManage relationships with regulators, external auditors, and legal counselMaintain and improve internal financial controls and governance frameworksEnsure compliance is kept current as the business enters new markets and product areasTreasury & Financial OperationsDesign and operate treasury and fund flows across fiat and cryptoManage liquidity, exposure, and risk, including variance, concentration, and counterparty riskOwn financial operations end-to-end: revenue tracking, promo spend, affiliate and KOL payouts, and reconciliation across wallets and platformsStrategic FinanceOwn the P&L, including forecasting, scenario planning, and variance analysisDrive unit economics and performance insights, CAC, LTV, cohort analysis, VIP dynamicsSupport capital allocation decisions and cost managementAssist with investor relations, fundraising preparation, and board reportingFinancial Infrastructure & SystemsBuild and maintain systems for real-time financial visibility and reportingManage multi-entity structures including intercompany flows and service agreementsOwn the equity cap table and token pool administrationWhat You Bring8–12+ years across finance, accounting, or financial operations, with experience operating in a hands-on capacityProven ability to own accounting end-to-end, not just strategic finance, but the operational execution underneath itDirect experience with crypto and digital asset accounting, including on-chain transaction reporting and token-related financial treatmentStrong working knowledge of AML/CTF compliance obligations and regulated financial environmentsBackground in gaming, betting, trading, exchanges, payments, or a similarly high-velocity environmentExperience managing treasury, liquidity, or fund flows across fiat and cryptoFamiliarity with multi-entity structures, transfer pricing, and cross-border complianceComfortable working in a lean environment where you are both the strategist and the person doing the workHigh ownership, strong judgment, and the ability to operate without a lot of structure around youWhy This RoleThis is a foundational role.
