The ideal candidate brings a combination of deep engineering expertise, real-world project delivery experience, and a forward-looking perspective on data center infrastructure, power systems, and thermal management.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Project LeadershipLead end-to-end design and execution of large-scale data center campuses (50MW–100MW)Establish and refine design standards across electrical, mechanical, and site infrastructureDevelop modular, repeatable design frameworks to accelerate deployment timelinesGrid-Power-Centric InfrastructureDesign infrastructure anchored by utility-scale grid power availabilityArchitect efficient power distribution systems, including:Medium and high-voltage distributionReduced conversion architecturesScalable redundancy strategies (N+1, 2N, etc.)Coordinate closely with utilities on load delivery, interconnection, and phasingHigh-Density & AI OptimizationDesign environments capable of supporting:75kW–150kW per rack, with a path toward 300kW+ per rack and beyondGPU-intensive and AI workloadsLead integration of:Direct-to-chip liquid coolingCDU-based architecturesAdvanced thermal management strategiesInnovation & System OptimizationEvaluate and integrate emerging technologies, including:Liquid and immersion coolingAdvanced electrical topologiesGrid-interactive design strategiesIdentify opportunities to:Reduce cost per MWIncrease speed to marketImprove operational efficiencyCross-Functional ExecutionCollaborate with:Development and investment teamsExternal MEP engineers and consultantsUtilities and infrastructure providersOEMs and technology partnersTranslate customer and market requirements into scalable infrastructure solutionsProject DeliveryOversee project execution from concept through commissioningEnsure alignment with:Budget targetsDevelopment timelinesLong-term operational performanceQualificationsCore RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field5–10+ years of experience in mission-critical or data center infrastructure projectsProven experience delivering data center projects of 10MW+, preferably 50MW+ environmentsDeep expertise in:Power distribution systemsRedundancy designCooling systems (air and liquid-based)Preferred QualificationsProfessional Engineer (PE) license is strongly preferredExperience with:High-density or AI/HPC environmentsLiquid cooling systems and CDU architecturesUtility interconnection and large-load power strategiesFamiliarity with modular construction and prefabricationWhat We’re Looking ForThis role is best suited for individuals who:Have successfully delivered large-scale infrastructure projects, not just designed themHave experience operating in high-density compute environments (75kW+ per rack)Thrive in fast-moving, execution-driven environmentsThink in terms of integrated systems (power, cooling, and compute)Are motivated to challenge traditional data center design approachesCan operate at both:Strategic level (design standards, planning)Technical level (detailed system architecture and execution)Why This RoleOpportunity to help define next-generation AI-ready data center infrastructureDirect involvement in platform-level design and development strategyExposure to large-scale power infrastructure and planningAbility to influence how and where data centers are builtWork alongside high-performing, execution-focused teamsImportant NotesThis role is remoteAvailability to coordinate with international teams is requiredThis is a remote/telecommute position.
