UWorld is seeking a remote AP Chemistry Teacher to serve as a Curriculum Developer. The individual will work closely with an onsite team of chemistry educators to create exceptional curriculum materials for the AP Chemistry product lines. This is a great opportunity to collaborate with fellow AP teachers, scientists, and professors who are passionate about chemistry education. The successful candidate should have a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry or a closely associated Chemical Sciences field, along with 4+ years of experience teaching Advanced Placement Chemistry in a high school and 3+ years of experience developing high-yield materials for the AP Chemistry curriculum. They should have extensive knowledge of the AP Chemistry course and exam description, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with high school students about AP Chemistry concepts and UWorld AP Chemistry products. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and problem-solving abilities are also required. The individual will report to the Product Manager and be responsible for developing educational and curriculum materials for AP Chemistry products. They will work independently to generate content that reflects existing AP Chemistry curriculum standards, receive and adjust content based on feedback, and collaborate with the team to meet project goals within given deadlines. The position offers a contractor rate of $30 per hour and the flexibility to work from home and set your own schedule.
