The company is a leading organization in the financial services industry, embarking on IT enabled business change projects. They offer a competitive remuneration package. The Job Holder will be tasked with building and leading the Project Management function to the highest governance standards in line with the organization’s strategic focus. The role involves leading the implementation and management of program and project governance frameworks, reviewing programs and projects for deliverability, providing metrics to evaluate project managers and other related staff, and providing oversight on project resourcing. Responsibilities: - Lead the implementation and management of program and project governance frameworks and development of appropriate reporting tools which deliver value. - Review programs and projects for deliverability including adequate resourcing. - Ensure all governance reporting is accurate and timely, with appropriate updates on project timeframes, budget, scope, and benefits. - Provide metrics to evaluate project managers and other related staff on their projects. - Provide oversight on project resourcing. - Perform other duties as assigned by the Head, Program Delivery. - Participate in all IT Planning and policy development efforts. - Coordinate end users training before delivery of solutions. - Help with the production of periodic project reports. - Assist with quality management for solutions deployment and day-to-day operations. - Facilitate the resolution of any issues encountered.
