About the RoleWe're seeking a Full Stack Engineer to build progressive web applications and agentic AI systems from the ground up. You'll architect and develop mission-critical systems that serve defense and logistics operations across mobile and desktop platforms. This role is ideal for engineers who thrive in early-stage environments and want to own the technical foundation of impactful AI-powered products.ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain Ruby on Rails applications with PostgreSQL databasesDevelop progressive web applications optimized for mobile and desktopDesign and implement RESTful APIs and database schemasDeploy and manage applications using Kubernetes and containerizationDesign data models for mission-critical defense and logistics systemsImplement authentication, authorization, and security best practicesOptimize application performance and offline capabilitiesWork closely with product and design teams to translate requirements into technical solutionsParticipate in code reviews and maintain high code quality standardsBuild tools that support military readiness and logistics operationsEnsure applications meet security and compliance requirementsIntegrate with DoD systems and secure data pipelinesRequirements3-10 (+/- ) years of experience in full stack development (Ruby on Rails, Node.js, Python, or Go preferred).Strong experience in Ruby on Rails, Docker, and Kubernetes is a must.Due to the nature of our work, qualified candidates must be US Citizens.Familiarity with frontend technologies (React, TypeScript, Tailwind).Experience working with a modern DBMS (PostgreSQL, or similar).Developed database schemas and implemented a corresponding object model.Experience with authentication/authorization best practices.Comfort working in fast-moving, early-stage environments.Nice to HavesUnderstanding of RMF compliance, FedRAMP, or NIST 800-53 security standards.Ability to obtain a Government Security Clearance.Prior work with DoD systems or military logistics/training software.
